What distinguishes Kristina Taheri Special Events from other event management companies is the diverse background and experience of its founder. Following her undergraduate studies, Kristina held an international position with American Airlines. She then joined the staff of British Airways in Paris, where she lived for several years. Following this phase of her career, Kristina decided to further her formal education and attended Cornell University’s top-ranked Statler Hotel School.
Upon receiving her Masters of Management degree from Cornell in 1997, Kristina embarked on a career in the hospitality industry. Prior to launching her event management company, Kristina worked for the Four Seasons Hotel Group in Chicago, and was subsequently recruited by the famed Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York where she managed major social, high-end corporate, political, and celebrity fund raising events.
In 2003, Kristina and her family were transferred to Northern California where she founded Kristina Taheri Special Events in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her international background, hospitality education, and experience in the luxury hotel market have been an exceptionally strong combination for her successful business. Along with Kristina’s sense of style and creative team of experts, the company has the experience, talent, and resources for exceeding client expectations on every occasion.
Kristina Taheri Special Events is now pleased to announce the recent relocation of the company headquarters to Chicago, Illinois. The company will serve Chicago and its suburbs while continuing to provide services to Bay Area clients.
