What distinguishes Kristina Taheri Special Events from other event management companies is the diverse background and experience of its founder. Following her undergraduate studies, Kristina held an international position with American Airlines. She then joined the staff of British Airways in Paris, where she lived for several years. Following this phase of her career, Kristina decided to further her formal education and attended Cornell University’s top-ranked Statler Hotel School.
Upon receiving her Masters of Management degree from Cornell in 1997, Kristina embarked on a career in the hospitality industry. Prior to launching her event management company, Kristina worked for the Four Seasons Hotel Group in Chicago, and was subsequently recruited by the famed Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York where she managed major social, high-end corporate, political, and celebrity fund raising events.

Peggy joined Kristina Taheri Special Events as business consultant in 2011. Peggy brings a wealth of experience following a very successful career as vice president of sales, marketing, and business development in the construction industry.
Peggy directs corporate events and assists in social events. She is responsible for the new business development and management of client events in the Chicago area. These events may include product launches, grand openings, holiday parties, sales events, site negotiations, and any related support services. Her skills, enthusiasm, business savvy, and ability to engage with a diverse client base insures a fun-filled as well as cost-effective experience for our clients.

Susan's love of events was set in motion at a young age when she enthusiastically began planning festivities for her large family. Presently, with over twenty years of professional planning experience, she has executed many memorable events ranging from weddings to high profile concerts.
Susan joined Kristina Taheri Special Events in 2006 as our wedding consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area. Susan's experience in the hospitality and interior design industries, extensive world travel, and degrees in art and business from California State University, give her the unique ability to fashion fresh ideas to help build our client's own special story.
As an Ambassador for the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau, a volunteer at both the San Francisco Opera House, and Boys Hope Girls Hope, Susan stays well connected with the current trends in the San Francisco area.

Hillary is a natural for the position of Assistant Manager of Production and Projects. Her eye for detail, calm under pressure, and enthusiasm for the event industry makes her an ideal fit for KTSE.
Special projects, marketing plans, social media, accounting, and company communications are dealt with efficiently and professionally by Hillary. She also loves working on site with day-of events.
Prior to graduating from LSU with a degree in Communications, Hillary got her first taste of event management by coordinating sorority events. In addition, she worked for Guaranteed Rate helping plan over 200 national events per month.

We truly recognize all the great work that you did in the planning, preparation and coordination of our wedding day. As you know, our lives are extremely busy and having you plan our wedding day was essential not only to a seamless execution of the day itself but to our sanity as we moved through this event. You captured our vision of how we wanted the weekend flow perfectly and we never felt any bumps along the way. All of our guests are still commenting on the beautiful event. Kristina is very thorough and professional plus she is a genuinely enthusiastic person. I work crazy long hours and Kristina was very patient with working with my busy schedule. We did not want a cookie-cutter wedding and she was willing to think outside the box. Everything turned out even better than I had envisioned, thanks to Kristina! Our special day was spectacular and worry-free since she worked so hard prior to the event, plus she was on site to deal with all of the details. If only I could have Kristina manage all the details of my daily life as well!
If YELP had 10 stars, Kristina would get 11. I didn't worry about anything on my wedding day because I had so much confidence in her. Kristina was so on top of things. I cannot tell you how important it is to have her and her team overseeing the workings of your wedding day. You and Sue were both so professional and wonderful to work with, and I got more than a few compliments on how seamless everything was at the wedding. Kristina was amazing - We had her help us with mostly day of services for our wedding, but when we hit a bump in the road with the hotel, she was there along with us to sort it out. She put together an amazing schedule for all our vendors and sent it to each of them. I think Kristina and I bonded the day we met and we just were on the same page the entire time. She made my wedding so special. I would absolutely use her again for any services.
Everything seemed to go smoothly and that is Kristina's forte. No matter what problem arose, she solved it long before my husband or I even had an inkling. I couldn't recommend her more, and we plan on using her services for all parties or events we throw in the future.
